Co-Founder and Master Artist at SMP Ink, Tyler Bennet, lives by the philosophy, “You never work a day in your life if you enjoy what you do.” Tyler is a highly educated, kind, and motivated individual with an extensive background in psychology and counseling. His dedication to customer service, communication, and the passion for giving back to others led him to the art of scalp micropigmentation.
Meet Tyler, Co-Founder and Master Artist
Tyler was born in Denver, but moved to Las Vegas with his family when he was five years old. Like many adolescents, he struggled in school to determine what he ultimately wanted to do. He simply knew he had a passion for helping people and creating a positive impact on society.
He received his Bachelors in Psychology and went on to become a licensed drug and alcohol abuse counselor. He worked with struggling juveniles in Las Vegas, and while attending school, he also worked in the service industry on the Strip becoming Forbes 5-Star Certified. Tyler received multiple certificates of merit from Forbes and internal Wynn Resort mystery shops, each time earning 100% scores for customer service performance.
Before that, Tyler taught swim lessons for children and spent many years lifeguarding in different venues throughout Vegas. Most recently, he worked for a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of consumers. These, along with other careers, helped sculpt Tyler into who he is today. His experience helped narrow down exactly how he would serve the community.
Tyler’s experience with scalp micropigmentation
In 2017, Tyler decided to take the step to do something about his hair loss. He researched extensively, tried hair transplants and other products to slow down his hair loss. Nothing worked. He finally discovered micropigmentation and found it was the best decision he’s ever made. His hair is now full, his confidence is restored, and most importantly, it led Tyler to a new passion. He decided to learn the art of SMP.
After starting as a Master Artist for Full Micropigmentation, he was awarded the opportunity to start his own business with the world renown, Marvin Furrow. Tyler worked to make a positive impact on the world and change people’s lives for the better, helping them regain their self-confidence.
Tyler currently lives in Las Vegas and spends his free time off-roading, shooting, staying current with movies, working out, traveling to visit family at their ranch in Montana, and pretending he isn’t in bed by 9pm.
